Cameron Douglas Verdict, Facing 5-Years in Prison

Michael Douglas son Douglas is now facing 5-years of prison for a drug trafficking case in pushing cocaine as well methamphetamine in New York City. The city judge recently give their verdict for Cameron Douglas who also pleaded guilty in the said case way back in January of this year. According to report, he even asked for apology to the Federal Judge Richard Berman along with the other people involve in the court and accepting what has been sentenced to him because of his own mess.

He's been asked to pay his fine of $25,000 whom also facing a five more years for the release program of the government. Here's a little statement from his father Michael in regards with his son verdict,

"He is an adult and responsible for his own actions," Michael Douglas wrote, but added that "genes, family and peer pressure" also contributed to his son's substance abuse problems, which led to his getting involved in drug-dealing.

Furthermore, according to report, Richard Berman scans Michael letter as well letters from the supporter of the actor who actually shared their own philosophy in regards with Cameron life. They all believe that the young actor can still have a chance to turn his life to the right path and it is quite good for all of us who's been following him since then.
