Deepwater Horizon Oil Rig Explosion

Transocean Ltd. spokesperson confirmed that most of 126-crews which currently on Deepwater Horizon oil-rig was evacuated safely from unclear explosion. The search and rescue operation starts in the early morning of Wednesday when a fire starts to broke out in the said rig which is situated in the Gulf of Mexico. This is operated by Transocean employees, a British-owned company next to BP PLC along with some of their personnel base within.

Deepwater Horizon oil-rig was located 41-miles from the shore of Louisiana at Mississippi Canyon. It is equipped with Macondo prospect of drilling for oil. According to Greg Panagos, from the said manpower company, treatments for injured personnel is now going on and there are still 11-crews still reported missing recently. For now, reports are still headed to the current available channel in regards with a recent oil rig explosion which happened again since a Texas City oil tragedy in their refinery which also involves BP.
