Dorothy Provine of Mad World Passed Away

Dorothy Provine was reportedly passed away last Sunday, April 25, 2010 and emphysema was confirmed to be the cause of her death. She is on her mid-70's as she died at Kitsap County in Silverdale's Hospice which is about 10-miles away from Brementon, Washington. This story has been confirmed by her husband Robert Day, Provine's 43-years partner in life.

Here are Dorothy's movie and television credit other than "Mad World" from her 1960's television series and during her time in showbiz as noted by Associate Press recently,
Provine's movie credits also include "Bonnie Parker Story" and "Live Fast, Die Young" in 1958, "The 30 Foot Bride of Candy Rock" and "Riot in Juvenile Prison" in 1959, "Good Neighbor Sam" in 1964, "That Darn Cat!" and "The Great Race" in 1965 and "Never a Dull Moment" in 1968.

She also played leggy flapper Pinky Pinkham on ABC-TV's "The Roaring 20s" from 1960 to 1962, and she appeared on such shows as "77 Sunset Strip," "Hawaiian Eye," "Sugarfoot," "Wagon Train" and "Mike Hammer."
Furthermore, she left her two daughter and son along with her husband Robert.
