Holy Thursday and Good Friday Catholic Obligations, Started

>> Apr 1, 2010

As a Catholic, we have so many things to consider this Holy Week, fasting and reflections to the hand-made of the Lord is our main objective why we celebrate. It's a typical Catholic obligation which somehow bothered those who'd like to do things in their own will which cross the rule of our religion. Holy Thursday and Good Friday has been marked in each of our church member calendars, the day's to celebrate and remember Jesus Christ on how He bring us light to live in this world. How the Lord gave His only Son to marked our history as a living person. To live life not on the side of evil but to bring more out of it for others.

For us, we are the living sacrifice of mankind, celebrating a 40-days of fasting just like what Jesus did before He's been crucified. He made a Last Suffer together with his apostles which also marks our heart to live with a brotherhood for the rest of mankind.

This Holy Thursday, if you're one of Roman Catholic debuted to this celebration, you might asked if "you can eat meat on Holy Thursday as well in Good Friday" because these are the most important days to remember, the most high days of fasting if you're one of those observers out there. You might asked "when to eat meat" too. But in my simple belief, although I am not trying to break our religious rules, try not to think it bad. We know that Jesus Christ love us, this two days of celebration might bring us thing we don't want to be caught in the middle, just remember that God give us this days, not to eat meat, but to remember His goodness.

To make it safe for you not to break your rule as a Catholic doing our individual celebration, try to wait this Easter Sunday as we start to celebrate a feast of living, another obligation we need to celebrate after of Black Saturday.
