Ronnie Lee Gardner Asked for a Firing Squad

Ronnie Lee Gardner isn't new for those people who already know him, especially the family of his victim way back in the mid-1980's when he was sentenced to death on killing Michael Burdell while trying to escape in a courthouse at Salt Lake City which put to death of an attorney. And now that the Utah judge already signed for a firing squad execution for him, plan might already started to materialize for his execution schedule rumored to be this coming June 18, 2010.

He's been in Utah death row for about 25-years and when asked on what form of execution he wanted as the capital punishment, he told the Salt Lake City courtroom to have have a firing squad, an old-way of western executing convicted criminals with a death penalty verdict.
